Budgeting and Tracking Spending
Budgeting and Tracking Spending
In our original pilot program, It’s My Life: Social Self-Directed Care, we recognized that it is important for people to not only develop social goals but also to have the financial means to achieve them. Those with serious mental health conditions may not always have access to funds to attend social outings. This is why participants in this program received a small stipend that assisted them in achieving their social goals.
In Peer Partners, we hope that participants will be able to receive a similar stipend. This can aid them in achieving their social goals by providing the funds to do so. In our webinar on budgeting and tracking, we identify:
- Why having a stipend is important.
- How facilitators can help participants develop financial skills.
- And how our forms can keep track of spending.
