Vote like your mental health depends on it
Youth Election Town Hall
Tuesday, April 23 | 6 - 7 p.m. ET | 3 - 4 p.m. PT
In today's whirlwind of political noise, it's easy to feel overwhelmed or doubt the weight of our votes. This youth-led town hall is a rallying point for young voters to cut through the chaos, understand elections, and see their real-life impact.
We're tackling the real challenges young voters face in making our voices heard. Led by a diverse panel of youth advocates, we’ll break down voting barriers, spotlight critical issues, and take steps to amplify our collective voice.
Join the conversation to share your experiences, ask the pressing questions, and find ways to make our voices heard without compromising our mental health. Let's empower each other to shape the future through informed, meaningful participation in the electoral process.
In our Youth Election Town Hall we'll:
- Demystify voting: Collaboratively explore the voting process, including how to register, understand candidates, and tackle any voting-related anxiety or challenges.
- Amplify our voices: Share and listen to stories from peers on how voting impacts our communities and mental health, creating a space for honest conversations about the voting process, where all questions are welcomed and diverse perspectives are valued.
- Encourage collective action: Identify and overcome barriers to voting through shared strategies, counteracting cynicism and emphasizing the strength of our votes to shape the future we envision.
Join us to explore what's at stake and how to vote with mental health in mind.
Tuesday, April 23, from 6–7 p.m. ET / 3–4 p.m. PT
