Laura Evans leads National and State Policy for Vibrant Emotional Health to support innovative community programs including the state-of-the-art 988 Crisis and Suicide Lifeline and the Disaster Distress Helpline. In this role, she oversees a portfolio that includes many facets of healthcare policy, including suicide prevention, appropriations, and telecommunications. Under her leadership, Vibrant’s public policy footprint has expanded across states, territories, and the federal government to improve access to crisis services, reduce barriers to care, and strengthen the crisis continuum. Laura is proud to have begun her career in the Ohio Legislature.
