Your voice matters. Join us to make sure young people have access to the peer-to-peer and peer support resources they deserve.
The challenge
For years, youth leaders have been taking and demanding action to support their peers. Yet, peer programs and training remain out of reach for young people across the country. As a result, countless teens and young adults are going without this critical resource while their mental health needs continue to increase.
The opportunity
The SUPPORT Act can help. Among broader goals, it aims to expand access to peer support in schools, collect data on youth peer services, create a new peer support technical assistance center, and ensure the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s Office of Recovery is required by law. This Act is a key step toward a more supportive future for young people.
You can make a difference. Join us to learn how you can use your voice to advance this legislation.
