Supporting young minds: effective empowerment strategies

Young people need opportunities to grow, learn, lead, and care for each other. However, when creating programs for youth mental health programs, their voices are often left out of the conversation. Teachers, parents, coaches, and other community leaders can foster a sense of agency and empowerment while providing the necessary support for youth to succeed.

Join Mental Health America and guests for this free 60-minute session where we will:

  • Discuss the importance of centering youth voices & letting them lead
  • Learn strategies for building agency and empowerment within youth
  • Hear from youth themselves about how adults can best support their needs
