Janelle Gonzaga (she/her) is the Affiliate Network Support Associate at MHA, supporting MHA affiliates with information and resources they need to carry out their valuable work. Janelle also works with the advocacy team to organize Regional Policy Council meetings and events that coincide with major policymaker groups. Janelle graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science in psychology with concentrations in developmental psychology and work and organizational psychology. Janelle previously worked as a high school substitute teacher at Loudoun County Public Schools. Her mental health experience drives her passion for mental health advocacy in various topics, such as inpatient hospitalizations, mental health education in school systems, and disseminating accurate mental health information online for public use.
