Brian Hufford (head of health care litigation) and Caroline Reynolds (who led the trial team) will be explaining the Wit v United Behavioral Healthcare (UBH) ruling from the United States District Court in the Northern District of California that found UBH used flawed and overly-restrictive internal guidelines in denying mental health and substance use disorder coverage claims for tens of thousands of its covered individuals, including children.
