In addition to our mental health screens, psychoeducational articles, and do-it-yourself tools, Mental Health America Screening has several other ways you can access help.
Feeling alone can deter a person from seeking mental health treatment. People who are struggling might want to find ways to connect with peers who are struggling with similar issues to feel seen and heard and have their experiences validated and understood. In our approach, we want to help people learn new coping strategies by connecting to others with similar experiences and mental health journeys. In this space, we help to connect to other resources such as self-help apps, online forums to connect with peers, and treatment providers.
The CRI team is working to expand and improve the resources available on MHA Screening—but we can’t do it alone! Do you have a resource that fits under any of the domain areas of MHA Screening?
MHA’s Center for Research and Innovation (CRI) programs work with data from over 6 million users each year to understand community trends on mental illness, trauma, disparity, and access to supports. Though we receive many inquiries, the CRI is prioritizing projects that ensure meaningful and symbiotic collaboration.
