Renee Folzenlogen, LPC, ATR-BC, is a board-certified art therapist and family support specialist at the Mental Health Association of Essex and Morris, Inc. in NJ. Renee has facilitated arts based workshops for physicians, educators, and caregivers. She co-presented at the NYC Expressive Therapies Summit in 2017 and 2018 about the use of narrative textiles to promote resilience and foster recovery from trauma, grief, and domestic violence. Renee co-curated My Mother's Keeper, a multimedia group exhibit about women living with mental illness, as seen from their daughters' perspectives, and coordinates ongoing exhibits that empower individuals affected by mental illness.
