Marcie Timmerman is the Executive Director of Mental Health America of Kentucky. Prior to this role, she served as health messaging coordinator for Kentucky Equal Justice Center and held multiple positions with NAMI Lexington. She spent over five years at UK Psychiatry in the outpatient office supporting substance use treatment, child, adolescent, and mental health providers. Overall, she’s been in the field of mental health support and advocacy for 17 years. Marcie received a master’s in Health Administration from the University of Kentucky College of Public Health and has a B.A. in English from The Ohio State University.
