Lisa speaks and writes about her experience during and after the Virginia Tech shooting and recovering from an eating disorder to help others. Her work has been featured in the Washington Post, Huffington Post, and many other prominent media outlets. She works with many non-profit organizations, including the Koshka Foundation, Safe and Sound Schools, and Active Minds, sharing best practices for school crisis prevention and mental health recovery. Lisa has a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Virginia Tech, a Master's degree in Operations Research from George Mason University, and a Master's degree in Economics from John Hopkins University.
