Dana is a Program Manager in Prevention Institute's Health Equity, Violence Prevention and Mental Health focus areas. She is a public health advocate with a strong passion for advancing equity in education and health. Dana has more than 20 years of professional experience and has worked in public health to address maternal and child well-being, chronic disease and obesity prevention, healthy eating and active living with an emphasis on policy, systems and environmental change, community safety and violence prevention. Dana received her B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia and a Master of Public Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
