As Congress prepares a reconciled funding bill, it is crucial that members hear that their constituents are strongly opposed to possible cuts to the Medicaid program that would jeopardize physical and mental health care access for millions of Americans.
As budget negotiations take place in Congress, deep cuts to the Medicaid program are being considered that would create barriers to health coverage and would jeopardize mental health care access for millions of Americans. MHA is strongly opposed to these changes and urges Congress to support access to mental health and substance use care for everyone who needs it.
